By this, we tend to see that many people don’t take good care of their skin which is very vital for the body. Personal skincare should be taken very seriously since the skin covers around 15 percent of the body.
By doing so, the skin helps our body in many ways including; protection, sensation, heat regulation, excretion not to mention absorption.
Many products have been used in history to take care of our skin. Some have had good results whereas others came with devastating results. One of the products we are going to take a good look of it today is Bellame.

Bellame is a personal skincare and beauty brand. This brand was founded by Melissa Thompson and her partner Scott Thompson.
They have been working together for 45 years and thus have a combination of great expertise in beauty and digital marketing business. In other words, Bellame combines luxury with science.
Bellame product launched in the year 2017 with Melissa Thompson as the chief executive officer having had first debuted in the year 2016. Bellame operates under the personal care of the multi-level marketing industry and is based in California.
Key products in the Bellame skincare line
These products can be found in the Acqua Lumiere Regimen and they include; Bellame Hydrating cleanser, Hydrating Eye Cream, Hydrating Serum and Hydrating Moisturizer. It is worth noting that under the personal care niche, Bellame usually carries various skincare products. They tend to have clinical-grade ingredients.
Bellame Hydrating Cleanser
This is a European-style cream cleanser that lifts away impurities and also removes makeup whilst being gentle in smoothing and conditioning. You just have to apply one to two pumps directly onto your dry skin and then massage the face for a minute or two. This is then followed by washing off with a washcloth that is damp and warm. All of this is done according to the recommendations given by Bellame.
Bellame Hydrating Eye Cream
This is a silky and hydrating eye cream that softens fine lines commonly known as “Crows` feet” as well as reducing puffiness and dark circles.
Bellame Hydrating Serum
This is a lightweight facial serum. It absorbs immediately and thus helping in fighting against lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. This serum is advisable to be used both in the morning and at night followed by Hydrating Eye Cream and Hydrating Moisturizer.
Bellame Hydrating Moisturizer
This usually comes as the final step in the routine of Bellame Skin Care. Being a lightweight moisturizer, it penetrates so deeply and thus targeting fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging.
These are dullness, spots and uneven tone. So, Bellame has held the claim that this moisturizer generally adjusts to your skin`s need over time reason being that it doesn’t rest on the top of the skin as a barrier just like most moisturizer does.
Bellame has been boasting about “The Acqua Lumiere Experience” which is the scent of their products. This scent is said to be sophisticated with rose fragrance, citrus notes, and accents of Muguet in a base of amber and musk.
However, this can be pointed out that fragrance doesn’t constitute skincare. In that case, customers will always appreciate products that smell nice and pleasant but it is also worth noting that fragrance ingredients are known to cause skin damage and irritation. These ingredients can be both natural and synthetic.
Formulations of Bellame skincare products
These ingredients include; High-powered hyaluronic acid, Baobab Oil, Malachite, Vitamin C Ester, Milk Peptide Complex, Marine Collagen, Soluxomes, and Inflacin.
High-powered Hyaluronic acid
This is the key molecule involved in maintaining the skin`s moisture levels. It can also hold more water than any other natural substance. Altogether, this molecule usually plumps, volumizes and moisturizes the skin.
Baobab Oil
This comes as a derivative of the nutrient-dense fruit of “The Tree of Life.” This is native to Africa and Australia. It is known to be rich in vitamins A, D, E and Omega fatty acids. This oil has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These are used in Bellame skincare products as cell-rejuvenators and moisturizers.
Malachite
This is an emerald-colored gemstone that was used as eye shadow by ancient Egyptians five thousand years ago. It contains mineral antioxidants that limit oxidative damage caused by free radicals. These are unstable molecules that contribute to the formation of premature wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. It is also important to note that Malachite is rich in copper which functions as an essential coenzyme in the production of collagen. So, in Bellame skincare products, Malachite will help in blocking inflammation, repairing sun damage and making the skin to be firm.
Vitamin C Ester
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is the type of Vitamin C Ester that is used in Bellame skincare products. So, once it is absorbed by the skin, it will be converted to ascorbic acid which is the active form of vitamin C. This is a powerful antioxidant that is known to stimulate collagen production and also helping in fade dark spots. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is known to reduce melanin synthesis by eighty percent according to Belamme. This will leave your skin to be bright and even-toned.
Milk Peptide Complex
It is well known that peptides are fragments of proteins that are formed by amino acids bonding together. So, since proteins like collagen and elastin are the core building blocks of skin, not having enough of them causes loss of firmness, texture changes, the appearance of wrinkles and skin that will not bounce back as usually did. This complex is said to contain a regenerative effect and thus delivering a significant increase in smoothness, an increase in firmness and skin thickness.
Marine Collagen
It is derived from seaweed. And thus, it is packed with minerals, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes. It is known to function as both an impurity detoxifier an oil-regulator.
Soluxomes
This is a patented delivery method known to enable Bellame to encapsulate all of their ingredients to ensure they are well absorbed subdermally. So, the quantity of ingredients that passes the stratum corneum is higher and will stay in the epidermis and dermis longer according to Bellame. I have not seen any negative reviews regarding their products. Several beauty bloggers recommend these products.

Bellame is an MLM company, and that only means that you have to become a member to take advantage of the opportunity. It does offer you the opportunity to make money by becoming an official distributor of the company and market their products.

Is Bellame a scam? Is it a Pyramid Scheme?
With the above-shared information, it’s easy to deduce that Bellame is a genuine M LM. Though, we wouldn’t say that the company provides anything unique rather than maintaining the motivation of their member.
It is not a pyramid scheme, but rather a legit business. It is also not a scam, where their products are good.
But as I pointed out in the beginning, I don’t recommend this as an earning opportunity especially if you don’t like to recruit people.
As we all know, in any MLM, you have to at least recruit people for you to succeed.

- Bellame has more sales and incentives- it usually motivates and incentivizes its members to sell more products by focusing on sales as a means of getting promoted.
- Good Compensation plan- if you have a closer look at their compensation plan, you will found out that they have a good compensation plan because it is based upon sales.
- Bellame has high-quality products- this is generally seen in their good results
Cons of Bellame
- Bellame seems to have expensive products- one of the drawbacks of Bellame is that their products tend to be expensive though they are of high quality. Their commercial competitors are comparatively cheaper than them.
- Bellame has a crowded niche-their personal care niche is so crowded, so that will make it more difficult to market their products because the competition is so tight.
- Bellame has no disclosure statement- you can`t find any trace of disclosure statement and that’s why it is so hard to determine if people are making money from this program. So, many people tend to be turned off from this program.
