What is Ariix?

Ariix is an MLM company that is currently operating in Utah, United States. This comes as no surprise at all since many of the network marketing companies have a liking for this place.

A good number of them are based here. Similar to the other MLMs, Ariix focuses on the popular health and wellness niche. They sell a variety of products ranging from dietary supplements, weight loss products, skincare products, and personal care items.

MLM companies like to stand out and have something that differentiates them from competitors. In this case, Ariix has a diverse line of products and they don’t just concentrate on health supplements or weight loss products.

Instead, their products are from different brands and this makes them stand out from the rest. Most MLMs prefer to sell their product lines. On the other hand, ariix ensures its distributors have more options to maximize their chances of making more sales.

This company was founded back in 2011 by a group of executives who used to work for USANA health sciences. This is one of the leading nutritional supplement companies in the industry. It’s a well-established company that boasts of over 25 years in business.

Ariix is upfront about its leadership and they are well-known people. The CEO is named Mark Cooper while the company president is referred to as Mark Wilson. Another thing is that their leadership seems experienced considering their background.

Ariix competes with USANA and they have all the intentions to beat them. On the other hand, this may not be an easy feat since USANA is a company that has been in the industry for a longer period and they are quite experienced too. Furthermore, USANA is a top leader in the industry. All said and done; only time will tell.

The Ariix product line

Ariix products

The Ariix product line is a positive factor because it’s expansive. They venture into different markets each with a variety of products. Its categories include body care, skincare, health supplements, water purification, weight management, and essential oils. I will quickly mention their various lines of products;

  • Slenderiiz – this is the weight management product line that is designed to suppress appetite and also increase metabolism.
  • Nutrifii – these are nutritional supplements for better health.
  • Puritii – this is the purification product line in which they offer water and air filters.
  • Priime – this is the line of products that includes essential oils.
  • Jouve – three skincare products. They include skin tightening serum, nourishing night cream, dark spot corrector & brightening cream.
  • Reviive – personal care products such as shampoo conditioner, body wash, and even toothpaste.

Do the Ariix products work?

This is something many people want to know especially those who are trying out these products for the first time. Ariix claims all of their products are scientifically tested for efficiency.

However, they have not provided any information on the studies carried out as proof these products work.

They also say that their products omit the use of any GMOs and free from any banned substances according to the regulation set by the USADA. In spite of all this, I can’t affirm as to whether the products work or not.

However, according to my research, there are mixed results. Some people have come out complaining of side effects and negative results.

Also, it’s quite odd that Ariix has not bothered to list the retail prices of its products on the website. The only thing that is on the site is the line of products and some information about them but not their actual prices.

This can be frustrating for customers who only want to view the prices of different products. There is a link to the website shopping cart but upon clicking on it you get redirected to a page that requires logging into the cart with an Ariix ID and password. This means that you first of all have to create an account.

The Ariix compensation plan

Ariix compensation plan

Ariix has a better and advanced compensation plan in the entire MLM industry. They have even given it a special name. They refer to it as ACTIV8.

They have adopted a unique patent-pending compensation plan they refer to as Multi-line. There is a lot more than you can learn on their compensation plan on the video presentation provided on their website.

Here are some notable features of the Ariix compensation plan;

  • Auto-balancing – Auto-balancing is fairly new in the MLM world. The patent-pending algorithm works by helping you place the sales volume you have generated and your downline perfectly so that you can eventually earn the maximum commission.
  • Power Re-entry – this means that you are allowed to enroll in multiple teams which is something that does not normally happen in the MLM world.

The compensation plan stipulates that you are given a 15% commission for the sales made by a person in your downline. Also, they say that their compensation plan is considerate of the cost of living in the different areas of the world. For this reason, they supposedly increase the commissions according to the increase in the cost of living.

How to get started with Ariix

There is no clear information provided by the company regarding the cost of becoming an affiliate. However, after looking around I found out what it takes to become their distributor. You are required to purchase one among their enrollment packs.

There are nine enrollment packs with prices ranging from $294.95 to $2,098. Keep in mind you are encouraged to buy the more expensive packs because they have more products which increase the earning potential.

For instance, your sponsor may recommend you purchase the very expensive Elite Pack that goes for $1,414.95. If you asked me, this is pretty crazy and a huge sum of money for a start-up.

Additionally, buying an expensive pack will not benefit you but it’s the sponsors who get to make the most out of it.

Let’s say you manage to pay for the starter pack and officially become an affiliate. It all doesn’t end here. To qualify for the commissions, you are required to maintain a sales volume of 100PV every month. This is equivalent to $150.

This is often difficult for affiliates who are making very few sales. They are forced to consume the products themselves or keep on paying the $150 to stay qualified.

There is also the $25 annual renewal fee. You will have to do the math and determine if this is something you can afford. It’s a huge financial burden for many.

What I don’t like about Ariix

Recruitment is the main focus

Ariix can go on and on about how they have a special compensation plan. However, the key area where people make the most money is through recruitment. Also, they still use traditional recruitment methods that are common with other MLM companies.

The market is saturated already

There are hundreds of MLMs in the health and wellness niche. Therefore, everyone out there is already selling nutritional supplements, skin care products, weight loss products and many more. This makes it even harder to make any significant sales.

The startup costs are expensive

The truth is the Ariix startup cost is expensive for most people. Take a look at their enrollment packages and the monthly auto-ship. That is expensive especially for someone who is venturing into this business for the first time and has limited capital.

Conclusion – Is Ariix a scam?

Ariix is neither a scam nor a pyramid scheme. My take is that you will need some experience in sales and marketing if at all you are to succeed in this business. It is not going to be as easy as they say. More people lose their investment and finally give up than those who succeed.
