4 Awesome Traffic Strategies You Must Know in 2019

These are the best tips on how you can generate traffic to your website this 2019.

Google, Bing, Yahoo, and SEO

What is it?

Google, Bing, and Yahoo are search engine that millions of people use daily with billions of search queries daily.

Why use it?

It’s obviously an opportunity to put your site in front of people looking for websites and provide solution to their problems.

How to start?

All right so here’s where we get into the the fun stuff. So basically you want to determine the keywords that people are using to find content.

You need to use a keyword research tool and it could be any keyword research tool of your choosing, I personally preferred Jaaxy. Ideally, you write your content around low-hanging fruit keyword that you have researched inside your keyword tool. So now in terms of numbers, a good starting point is the 100  or over 100 searches under 100 QSR that is the in my opinion the classic QSR or the really low classic low-hanging fruit data. Find keywords that have over a hundred searches a month and under 100 QSR ,for those of you who don’t know what QSR , it stands for quoted search result and it’s basically a metric to determine how much competition you have and that is where you want lower numbers and ensure that you’ve optimized your content for that targeted keyword that you’re looking for.

I’ll give a quick example, “film photography lessons”. Let’s see, I’m trying to target that so I’m going to be using that word in my title, in my my content, like best place to start film photography lessons, best online schools for film photography lessons, I would then begin to talk about that. So that’s what I mean by ensuring that you’ve optimized your content for the targeted keyword and that is the SEO part. From there, you let Bing, Yahoo, and Google know about your website. You do that using Google search console and Bing Webmaster Tools. A lot of people may not realize that  Bing has a webmaster tools similar to Google, yes Bing also controls the Yahoo search engine as well. Get your site inside Google search console and Bing Webmaster Tools, both are virtually the same thing although the interface is a little different but it’s the same method or the same practice, it’s the same reason why you’re using it. This process is for basically one keyword and one article. That keyword is attached to that one article, do that, optimize it, then rinse and repeat. This is the best way to generate free traffic to your website,

Pay Per Click Marketing

So let’s roll on over into pay-per-click marketing. I should say that there is no specific order of importance here with the exception of Google, Bing, and Yahoo SEO. That is probably the most important because it carries over everything else.

Now is where the part we talk about PPC or pay-per-click marketing

What is it?

Pay-per-click  or PPC  is a paid platform to bid on keywords that show up in the top positions of the search engine. So basically it’s a super fast way to get in the top spots of the search engines for various keywords but you have to pay for it. You have to bid on keywords and the price varies depending on the keyword.

Why use it?

Why should you use pay-per-click? Well you know it’s a great way to jumpstart your content within the search engines. For example if you’ve just written a really good piece of content and let’s say you had it in the search engines maybe for a day or two and you see that it’s converting well just because you get traffic through social media or other sources other than from the search engines. Your content is converting but it’s not ranked in the top page yet. Using PPC is a great way to get it up in the paid area which is the top of the search engines. Thus you can get people to click on to your blog post.

How to start?

All right, well the first thing you need to do is you need to sign up to Bing ads and/or Google Adwords. In many cases you could find some sort of coupon code ok within Adwords at the very least AdWords. If you have a gmail and you are actively using your Gmail account, I suggest that you use the Gmail search function and search for Adwords because if you search the word AdWords within your gmail account, you may come across an AdWords coupon.  Example of an Adwords Coupon is you can spend $50 and get $100 credit so basically a hundred and fifty dollars of ads for $50. So that’s what they do, so there’s lots of opportunities it’s a really low valued way to or low cost way to get inside. Very important is you need to set an initial budget for your campaign and that’s not only within the actual setting up of the ad campaign but also just your own budget. So you have in your mind you say okay, this one campaign and a campaign would be like. Whatever you feel comfortable with spending, have that budget in mind. It’s like playing it to the casinos you, want to be able to kind of have set rules like you don’t want to spend your money in that and so on so have that set budget really important. Once you get set up and all that kind of stuff and have your set budget your bid on your ads and stuff for your keywords you really want. If you really want it and this actually determines the bidding price and how much you’re gonna be paying. Ensure that your ads are relevant to where you’re sending them to.

Lastly you want to track your results tweak scale and leverage so you need to so the moment you click on you know start your ad you want to watch that thing like a hawk.  There’s even an app in IOS and android where you can monitor the  AdWords and you want to see what people are clicking on. See what keywords people are clicking on to to make sure that you you leverage that right ditch those keywords that nobody’s clicking on and you scale and leverage right so and leverage would be maybe increasing your your pay-per-click budget back thing right so but just don’t go beyond your initial set budget for your campaign.

Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads is a platform to advertise to Facebook users. now last quarter of 2018 there were more than 2 billion monthly active users and the key is active users. Just over two billion active users on Facebook, how’d you like to get a small pie that small slice of that. Many types of ads can be run , for example you can do banner ads, you can boost your posts, you can do mobile only ads, you can do local ads like geo targeted ads, you could do video ads, slideshow ads. I mean the volume of type of ads is literally endless and you can have it so that it goes to your existing page. You can have it so that it goes to your existing Facebook post, you can have it so that goes to a website, you can have it so the ad goes to Instagram because Facebook owns Instagram. You can do the ads so it’s targeted only into Instagram. So you know the possibilities are endless.

Why use it?

Well it’s a great platform to show your ad content to a very relevant audience. There’s that word relevant again, I think that’s gonna be the marketing word of 2019, relevant or relevance. Ad demographics can be super targeted and this is the part that I think is really important for us as marketers because it is totally a way to, let’s say you only want to show your ad to men and women who live in Australia who are between the ages of 35 to 45 have university education, you can do that. So if that person has that demographic, Facebook knows about then that your ad will show and here’s the cool thing is that the more scaled-down or targeted the demographic, the lower the cost. The lower the audience but the more targeted it is.

How to start?

Basically, go to Facebook the Facebook Ads manager which is facebook.com/ads. There’s a lot of control in the ad platform, the thing is you want to determine your goal. So like do you want it to go to you know your site? Or you want to go to a particular Facebook post? Or you know where do you want your audience to go to? Next thing is you set your audience, so who’s your audience are they male or female? Are they a specific age group?  That is demographics that we’re talking about.

Also there is a really great tool called Facebook Insights. Example is you can tell about the people who are on Facebook that live in Melbourne Australia. You can see among everyone who lives in Melbourne Australia that are Facebook users, 30% of them are women between the ages of 25 to 34 and 32 percent of that are men between the ages of 25 to 34. This is  between 2 and 2.5 monthly active people 30% are between the ages of 25 and 34 respectively. You can also break it down by interest. Once you have an audience,  you can now create your ad copy and then set your budget you know as to how much you want to spend. You can do a one-time or you can set at an ongoing budget and then you place your order and then usually takes just a few minutes to have your order approved or not approved. I think you know depending on your ad copy ninety percent of the time it’s going to be approved but remember that marketing word of 2019 relevance. Make sure your ad copy is relevant to where you’re taking them.

Guest Blogging Content That Ranks

What is it?

Guest blogging is an opportunity to put your content and you as the author in front of a different reader audience. So what that basically means is that there’s going to be someone that has a blog that is offering a place where other people can write content for them.

Why should you use it?

Why are people gonna be doing that? Well I mean it’s a really great way to build your brand. It’s an additional source of traffic to your site so from a different network altogether it allows you to leverage other blogs. It is for SEO power also, for example if you guest author or you guest blog on someone else’s site that ranks really well, there’s some Google juice there that can get passed on to your own site.

How to start?

The easiest way I think a lot of people misunderstand how to start guest blogging, I mean there’s lesson called blogger outreach and what blogger outreach is. There’s actually a tool called ninja outreach which help you find people who are willing to let others post on their site. Here’s the easiest way to do this, literally Google in those quotes “your niche keyword”+”write for us”.  Start with doing the googling part  and then write and build some credibility within the guest blogging industry. At which point then you can approach people however you find them and say look I already write, here’s some results, check it out.
